Sharing my life change with you...

Yes, that is my mother's dark nails I had painted a week earlier, she was in the process of leaving this world behind. Although my life has been filled with much heartache I don't write this about me, I write it about you. If I can push through the pains and strains of life, so can you.
As you can see I have lots of links on this blog to lots of small endeavors I started but never finished or truly shared so why am I doing it now? I have had a change of heart, a change in my mind set....my life is changing, for the better. My father died suddenly when I was barely thirty then less then ten years later I watched my mother fight a horrible cancer and lost her. Less than a year later my only grandmother died too. My only other closest relative, my sister, lived over 20 hours away from me, and I was done. I had given up. My life had been filled with disappointment and heart ache. My husband and I were very obese, struggled financially, spiritually, fought all the time, we were a mess and our children were going to grow up with memories of messy heart ache. I was done. If something didn't change one of us would be the next with cancer or heart disease taking us to an early grave.
My husband made a Facebook post, he had hit bottom, little did he know so had I. We began a life change using products from someone who has become a very dear friend, called AdvoCare. Over 130 pounds later (lost pounds and still counting) my husband and I are different people with shared goals, vibrancy, fun-loving spirits and youth!!!
I have a new found love for life as a mother, a wife, an artist, a teacher and a coach to others in need. Now I want to help you. Am I saying that AdvoCare is your savior for a happy life? No, it helped ours, and something else may help yours. I recommend turning to God first and foremost, but for the human side of us I can provide an ear. I know what it is like to be down and out and if I can be there as a positive outlet for you then I welcome your messages no matter what ails your spirit.
There are lots of things to see on my blog, see all the buttons near the top of this page. You can read my e-book about my mother's journey with cancer, find our personal Facebook, read writings and view art...Look around, have fun, contact me if you'd like. :)
